Night Transport Driver - Seasonal

Job Summary
Deliver propane to commercial and industrial customers safely while operating trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete deliveries accurately using electronic dispatch and mobile devices, and maintain clean, organized equipment. Provide exceptional customer service while representing Palmetto Propane professionally and follow all OSHA, DOT, NFPA, and applicable state and federal regulations. Assist during emergency weather events when required and communicate effectively with dispatch and management. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including overtime during high demand periods, and report out of the Lexington hub from November through March.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using mobile devices and electronic dispatch systems
- Willingness to work overtime during periods of high customer demand
