Job Summary
Conduct night support and personal care for residents with high support needs, including hygiene assistance, medication prompting, and incontinence management. Monitor for pressure areas, prevent cross-infection, and maintain a safe, hygienic environment while adapting assistance levels to encourage independence. Liaise with the Shift Coordinator for handovers, report incidents per procedure, and support staff in maintaining house order. Ensure nutritional needs are met through feeding and hydration support, and assist residents with laundry and bedroom cleanliness. Work 37.5 hours weekly at a rate of €36,894 per annum in Depaul's Dublin Central Operation.
Required Qualifications
- Third level Qualification or QQI level 5 in social care or another suitably related area
- Good working knowledge of risk assessment processes and systems (i.e. S/U Risk assessment, Lone Working, Activity Risk Assessments)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of service user activity planning
- Experience of lone working or off-site working
