Job Summary
Night Superintendent leads the overall management and success of high-end renovations and construction projects in New York City, focusing on quality, client satisfaction, and profitability. Responsibilities include overseeing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems; managing project staff and coordination among owners, tenants, and professional groups; ensuring timely documentation and administrative tasks; coordinating MEP trades; monitoring schedules and spending; producing project reports and schedules; reviewing bid procedures and subcontractor/vendor qualifications; approving payments and managing change orders; ensuring closeout documentation and warranties are prepared; and aligning with BIM/Revit tools and subcontractor coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or construction science is preferred
- 7+ years in commercial construction management
- Heavy Mechanical and or Electrical background preferred
- Coming from the sub-contractor world, exposure to Corporate Interiors work desired
- Experience with BIM / Navisworks / BIM Glue / Revit
