Job Summary
Stock all merchandise in its proper location according to shelf allocation established by management. Replace misplaced items, clean and straighten shelves, and hang shelf tags. Unload trucks, bale boxes, and sweep and mop all areas of the store. Check shelf labels for pricing accuracy and rotate merchandise to ensure freshness. Keep the stockroom neat, remove trash, and provide efficient service to customers. Must be 18 years or older, able to meet physical demands, and attend scheduled shifts. Food City is a family-owned company dedicated to community involvement and offers flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- Ability to have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
