Job Summary
Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room. Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor. Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered. Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines. Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments. Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. Additional tasks may be assigned based on customer experience needs. High School Diploma (GED) preferred; retail experience helpful. Physical demands include lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- Retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- Employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
