Job Summary
Implement OSHA-compliant safety policies and monitor the safety management system against performance standards. Lead safety personnel, conduct facility inspections to identify hazards, and ensure corrective measures are implemented. Train managers and employees on fire prevention, chemical handling, and equipment safety. Investigate significant accidents and incidents, compile regulatory reports, and analyze trends to prevent recurrence. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual safety performance reports for management review. Liaise with the Corporate Safety Director and report unit performance at team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- NYC Licensed Site Safety Manager (SSM)/Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (CSFSM)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related degree
- 10-20 years of general construction experience
- OSHA 30 hour training
