Job Summary
Plan, manage, and coordinate daily warehouse activities within shipping operations, effectively forecasting volume, staffing, and supply needs to meet productivity and expense budgets. Walk the facility to maintain building conditions, identify safety hazards, and correct them as necessary. Develop productive associates through training and coaching while building strong relationships with the warehouse team and supply chain. Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects. This role supports the Warehouse Manager to ensure all functions are performed efficiently within company and distribution center standards. The schedule is Sunday-Friday, 1:00 PM to finish, subject to change.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- A working knowledge of government regulations regarding warehouse operations
- Strong leadership and engagement skills
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be available for Sunday-Friday 1:00pm-finish schedule
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to walk the warehouse to ensure building conditions are maintained
- Must be able to identify potential safety hazards and correct them as necessary
- Must be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with the warehouse team and supply chain
- Must be able to develop productive associates through training and coaching
- Must be able to plan, manage, and coordinate the daily activities for the warehouse within shipping operations
- Must be able to effectively forecast volume, staffing, and supply needs to meet productivity and expense budgets
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
