Job Summary
Lead a team of warehouse associates on the 3rd shift, coordinating daily receiving activities, inbound freight, and inventory accuracy while ensuring products are received safely and efficiently. Coach and mentor employees to build future leaders, monitor productivity and labor efficiency, and identify opportunities to improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies. Collaborate closely with Inventory Control, Transportation, Purchasing, and Operations to maintain food safety, OSHA, and company compliance standards. Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a critical function within Certco's distribution center, helping implement new technology and develop a high-performing team in a stable, employee-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Receiving, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or grocery warehouse experience
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- Forklift experience
