Job Summary
Lead night shift supervision of Mental Health Workers by planning work schedules, conducting interviews, managing performance evaluations, and coaching staff on crisis intervention and YBGR policies. Respond promptly to emergency requests, coordinate staff coverage across lodge units, and conduct mandatory security rounds to ensure campus safety. Assist in crisis situations, debrief incidents to improve safety protocols, and provide transportation support when possible. Maintain compliance with contract requirements and business standards while adhering to organizational policies and applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old or older
- Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience in working with youth with emotional and behavioral issues in a residential setting
- Driver's License to operate passenger vehicle
- Current CPR/1st Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 day and maintain certification
- Successfully complete and maintain certification in identified Violence Intervention and Prevention Program
- Proficiency in managing crises and emergencies calmly and efficiently, employing appropriate de-escalation techniques and following established protocols
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff members, including the ability to conduct security checks and respond to emergency situations
- Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected situations during overnight shifts, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and diligent with forward thinking
