Night Shift Production Trainer

Job Summary
Develop comprehensive training programs for new and existing production employees by updating technical materials, presentations, and hands-on exercises. Provide one-on-one coaching and cross-training on different machines to enhance team flexibility and performance. Maintain accurate records of certifications, completion dates, and assessments while collaborating with supervisors and quality teams to ensure effective on-the-job training. Stay current with industry best practices and process changes to continuously improve the curriculum. This full-time role in Fort Wayne, IN, requires a minimum of five years in manufacturing and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment
- Excellent attendance and performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse groups of learners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others learn and succeed
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee records
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk throughout the production facility
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
