Job Summary
Night Shift Plant Laborer participates in safety programs, operates a skid steer for plant clean-up, provides back-up support for Plant Operator I, inspects equipment, monitors production processes and conveyors, performs basic maintenance on heavy equipment, and operates a haul truck as part of surface operations at the Randolph Mine in Missouri. The role requires working in an outdoor environment year-round, adhering to MSHA regulations, and collaborating in a team environment to support continuous production. The position involves following safety protocols, using required PPE, and being flexible to take on additional tasks as needed to support plant operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1+ years of related experience
- Valid US driver’s license
- Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred
- MS Office and other computer skills preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
- Physical Abilities: able to work outdoors year-round; able to ascend/descend, lift, push, pull, stoop, reach; capable of handling material
