Job Summary
Night Shift PA needed for hospital-based locum tenens coverage in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include ICU patient care with 50% trauma cases, 6-12 surgeries per day, 1 weeknight and 1 weekend day of call per week, EVD placement and ICP monitor placement, lumbar punctures/therapeutic taps, and support across a high-volume hospital service. Weatherby Healthcare provides ongoing support throughout the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- PA license
- locum tenens experience preferred
- hospital-based experience
- ICU experience
- ability to place lumbar punctures and EVD/ICP procedures
- availability for 7 days a week coverage
- nights and weekend calls included
