Job Summary
Lead nightly outbound warehouse operations to ensure orders are pulled, packaged, and loaded safely, accurately, and on schedule for next-day delivery. Assign and prioritize work across the shift based on workload, conduct quality control inspections of outbound trucks, and troubleshoot operational issues with sales, purchasing, and operations teams. Monitor team performance, coach employees on productivity and attendance, and supervise training and development of warehouse staff. Enforce safety policies, lead startup meetings to review KPIs and errors, and support hiring and onboarding efforts. This hands-on role operates Sunday through Thursday from 7:30pm to 4:00am with overtime as business requires, supporting Palmer-Donavin's commitment to outstanding customer service in the Midwest and Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1+ years of experience in management
- Satisfactory criminal history check
- Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening
