Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) available for night shift at Sunset Health Care Center in Union, Missouri. Provides nursing leadership on the night shift, initiates and leads individualized care plans, assesses residents' conditions, administers medications, starts IVs, assigns care to team members, and ensures equipment and supplies are maintained safely. Requires RN or LPN graduation and a Missouri license; one year of nursing experience preferred. Includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus (paid over 12 monthly payments), night differential pay, PTO/education reimbursement, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive health and other benefits for full-time staff. Essential duties include providing high-quality nursing care, documenting care and physician orders, and collaborating with residents, families, and the broader team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited RN or LPN School of Nursing
- One year of nursing experience preferred
- Valid RN or LPN license in state of Missouri
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
