Job Summary
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, and fire suppression systems while completing scheduled preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic domains. Perform timely reactive troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime and support engineering-led continuous improvement efforts that reduce scrap and boost efficiency. Manage spare parts inventory, assist with building repairs, and coordinate contractor upgrades for system enhancements. Act as the primary expert for equipment reliability, ensuring safe operations and smooth production flow through direct collaboration with Production and Maintenance Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or technical training
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic system repair
- Knowledge of injection molding
- Knowledge of pneumatic conveying
- Knowledge of chilled water systems
- Knowledge of grinders
- Skilled in using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting
