Job Summary
Night Shift Machine Operator at Fischer Paper Products. Set up and operate Garant, Beasley, and/or Weber printing/converting machinery on a 4-day, 8:10 PM–6:35 AM schedule. Troubleshoot mechanical issues, monitor production quality, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Requires 1+ year of experience in printing/converting/flexible packaging, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Pay $20–$24/hour (with a $2/hour shift differential) and comprehensive benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision, life and disability coverage, and 401(k). Anticipated workplaces: Antioch, IL. Required Qualifications
- At least 1+ year of experience in printing, converting, flexible packaging, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with Beasley, Garant, Weber, or similar machines (preferred)
