Night Shift Machine Operator

Job Summary
Operate cheese-making equipment including fillers, casting lines, wrappers, and formers while following verbal and written instructions from supervisors. Monitor product quality on boxes, pouches, and labels; communicate issues immediately. Perform machine cleaning and sanitization after production, unwrap barrels, and assemble pallets according to blend sheets. Troubleshoot equipment quickly to resolve issues and maintain a safe, organized work area adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Night shift 5:30pm to 6:00am Monday through Friday with frequent Saturdays. High school diploma required; strong math and communication skills essential.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Math, Reading and Writing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- Adaptable to sudden changes and willing to learn new skills
- Dependable member of a team
- Adaptable to work in Cold and Warm environments
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other quality guidelines
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
- Night Shift 5:30pm to 6:00am Monday – Friday, frequent Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of HMI screens, computers, and PIT is a plus
