Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and monitor patient conditions while reporting changes. Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations and assist with chronic care management. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. This role includes a full-time night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a rotating schedule including every other weekend. Southern Health Partners offers training and support for candidates with or without correctional healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Night shift availability (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Willingness to work rotating schedule including every other weekend
- Correctional healthcare experience (preferred but treated as required trait for this role context)
- Ability to provide direct patient care
- Ability to perform nursing assessments
