Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments while administering prescribed medications and treatments. Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and respond to urgent and emergent medical situations. Assist with chronic care management and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a safe, structured environment. Full-time night shift rotation from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend. Southern Health Partners offers training and support for correctional healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Night shift availability
- Full-time employment availability
- Willingness to work rotating schedule including every other weekend
- Correctional healthcare experience (optional but noted as a specialty area)
- Ability to provide direct patient care
- Ability to perform nursing assessments
- Ability to administer prescribed medications and treatments
