Job Summary
Night Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at D&D Foods, responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure food safety and production efficiency. Duties include starting, greasing, and monitoring production machines; performing electrical work (110V AC, 24VDC) and sensor repairs (photo eyes, limit switches, proximity sensor, reed switches); using shop tools (drill press, grinders, cutting tools, calipers, tapes, levels); conducting after-hours repairs as needed; following HACCP principles; and performing preventive maintenance, lubrication, and component replacements (gear boxes, bearings, seals, low voltage motors, copper piping). Must read blueprints and understand electrical systems, wear steel-toed footwear, and comply with safety and quality standards. Education: High School Degree. Experience: 1-3 years maintenance preferred. Location: Omaha, NE. This is a full-time, night-shift role within the D&D Foods facility operated by Hy-Vee.”,
Required Qualifications

- Digital Multimeter
- Basic understanding of electrical and small motors
