Night Shift Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary
Operate a variety of off-road haul trucks and equipment including scalers, loaders, and skid loaders on company property while performing daily vehicle and work area inspections. Observe visual and auditory signals during operation, conduct routine preventive maintenance, clean equipment, and assist with plant maintenance and repairs as needed. This safety-sensitive night shift role at our Fort Dodge mine requires Sunday night through Thursday night coverage with an average of 40 to 60 hours weekly. Candidates must be safety conscious, dependable, and possess at least one year of similar experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be dependable
- Must possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team
- Must be available for Sunday night–Thursday night and some weekend work
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand

- Must be able to sit
