Job Summary
Operate Crown Reach forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse. Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately, while loading and unloading shipments with proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, maintain clean work areas adhering to OSHA standards, and verify shipments against documentation. Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This temporary-to-permanent role supports the smooth flow of goods in a dynamic environment focused on precision and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Crown Reach Operator
- Night Shift availability (11:30PM to 7AM)
- At least 3 to 5 years' experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving roles using a Crown Reach
- Valid certification for forklift operation
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Full time availability on a Temporary to Permanent Basis
