Job Summary
Night Shift Forklift Driver responsible for operating forklifts to pick, pack, load, and unload products within a retail distribution environment. Responsibilities include retrieving items from designated areas, stacking and securing loads on pallets, stretch-wrapping outbound pallets, and ensuring accurate inventory via scanning equipment. Must assist with receiving and putaway, communicate effectively across departments, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards. Cross-train to support other distribution center tasks; may require overtime during peak periods with evening and weekend availability. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior warehouse and forklift experience, completion of forklift driving course (OSHA training a plus), ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and strong reading/comprehension of shipping documents, math, and communication skills. Must pass a drug screen and be able to work in a team-oriented environment with attention to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse experience and forklift operator
- Completion of forklift driving course
- OSHA training is a plus
- Must pass drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to read and understand packaging/shipping documents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform basic math
