Job Summary
Supervise poultry processing in the debone department, leading the team to meet production goals, safety standards, and yield requirements. Direct departmental supervisors, maintain proper staffing, and coordinate daily production flow with the Shipping Superintendent and First Processing Superintendent. Calculate and distribute processing reports, administer discipline, and ensure safe work practices through training and accident prevention. Advise on cross-training and developmental courses while assisting the Shift Manager. Operate in a noisy, cold, and wet processing plant environment requiring protective gear.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Poultry Science or related field
- minimum of three years processing experience
- minimum of five years experience as a processing supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to interact with managers, superintendents, supervisors, and support departments
- Microsoft Office skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Team Building and Leadership
- Excellent Follow up skills
- Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Protective gear
