Job Summary
Operate and maintain critical and non-critical equipment in a brand-new data center in Lancaster, TX on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am). Responsibilities include overseeing power, cooling, and environmental conditions, performing preventive maintenance using a CMMS, assisting in creating, revising, and executing operating procedures and PM inspections, troubleshooting and documenting electrical and mechanical issues, resolving emergencies quickly, assisting with installations and change control activities, coordinating with external contractors, and supporting general facility operations and commissioning projects to ensure 100% uptime. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; data center or mission-critical environment experience is preferred. Preferred skills include knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, BMS, fire systems, HVAC, and related licenses. Relocation assistance is available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- For the CFTII role, 2-3 years of experience working in a data center or mission critical environments; this experience is not required for the CFTI role
- Experience with building electrical, mechanical, BMS and fire systems, preferred
- Electrical or mechanical license (HVAC), preferred
