Job Summary
Provide inpatient Med/Surg patient care for adults with conditions such as respiratory infections, cellulitis, and pneumonia. Utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate patient care with other departments. Perform duties consistent with Mercy service standards, including prolonged standing and walking throughout the day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Full-time schedule of 36 hours per week. New graduates and experienced nurses are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
