Job Summary
Oversee freight handling activities by supervising the unload, pack out, and pack down processes to ensure nightly tasks are completed smoothly. Provide in-the-moment coaching on policies and procedures, conduct quality walks of merchandising locations, and partner with Night Operations ASMs on performance conversations and hiring. Direct the Consistent Unload, Directed Packout, and Purge Packdown processes while ensuring all trucks are unloaded timely and the store is Grand Opening ready. Enforce safety and hazmat procedures, guide associates on proper PPE and lifting techniques, and immediately correct unsafe conditions or hazards. Perform closing and MOD tasking, validate daily store priorities, and make business decisions in partnership with resources when serving as the only available manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- High school diploma and/or GED
- 1 year of work experience
