Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance on pump jack rod/plunger and plunger lift systems, taking readings, issuing work permits, and interfacing with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates. Proactively monitor well and equipment performance to maximize production, operating artificial lift systems including wellhead compression, gas lifts, and flow case equipment. Ensure wells are prioritized to maintain contractual obligations while gathering data through Engineering. Perform physical tasks involving climbing heights up to 24 feet, walking, bending, and lifting. Night work required with no possibility of moving to days. Local candidates preferred as no lodging or per diem is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- 2+ years direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment and terminology
- Night work
- Ability to utilize laptop PC and applicable software programs
- Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks
- Walk, bend, stoop and lift
