Job Summary
Night Production Manager leads overnight manufacturing operations at the South Bend site, supervising night shift production teams to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals while driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams. Responsibilities include monitoring processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance, tracking KPIs (throughput, downtime, scrap), leading handoffs, coaching team members, and driving initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity. Preferred candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/operations, 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years of people leadership, and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
- 2+ years of people leadership experience in a production setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage production metrics and meet operational targets
