Night Porter Supervisor

Night Supervisor leads overnight operations at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa, acting as the senior point of contact on site during the night, and supervises the night team to ensure a smooth, safe, and professional service. Responsibilities include conducting regular checks of public areas for cleanliness and safety, completing night audit procedures, handling guest arrivals and requests, monitoring security systems and responding to alarms, directing and supporting the night staff, acting as manager on duty overnight, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures, supporting training and onboarding of new night staff, managing handovers with day teams, resolving staff or guest issues professionally, delivering exceptional guest service, handling guest complaints, maintaining a welcoming and safe environment, ensuring safety and security of the building overnight, conducting fire safety checks, responding to emergencies, maintaining incident logs, preparing management reports, and managing late-night bookings and cash handling. Desired attributes include leadership, strong communication, professional appearance, and the ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure. Previous bar experience is desirable but not essential.
