Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health retail locations delivering patient-centered care including safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunizations. You’ll act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts, coach pharmacy team members, ensure adherence to workflow procedures and safety guardrails, resolve insurance and medication issues, manage inventory with emphasis on cold-chain protection, and collaborate with the patient’s healthcare team to improve outcomes. You’ll also provide pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible (e.g., testing and prescribing services such as COVID/Flu testing and Hormonal Contraception) and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting scheduling and a safe, inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
