Job Summary
Drive an automobile along a predetermined route in Coeur d'Alene to survey repair and service needs for sign and lighting components. Document outages by taking pictures and noting details, then locate signs on area maps to determine outage locations and addresses. Estimate size and characteristics of issues, report findings to supervisors, and relay information to other departments or store managers. Plan best traveling routes to ensure full geographic coverage and maintain records and logbooks. This part-time role requires a state-issued driver's license and the ability to read simple instructions. Mileage is paid if you use a personal vehicle. Required Qualifications
- state-issued driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to drive an automobile
- Ability to communicate in person
- Ability to see from a distance
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related sign project experience or training; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities
