Job Summary
Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training will gain hands-on experience in overnight freight operations and will lead by example in supervising associates, performing Manager on Duty duties, and collaborating with Night Replenishment Managers. The role focuses on overseeing unloading, packing out, packing down, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and store operations while training to assume an Assistant Store Manager position. The program emphasizes leadership development, customer service, merchandising planning, and driving sales and profitability through structured training modules and on-the-job learning over up to 6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 or older
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum education: high school diploma and/or GED (preferred bachelor's degree)
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 3
- Minimum Leadership Experience: 3
- Ability to supervise and lead associates
- Knowledge of safety procedures and hazmat handling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to plan merchandise placement and manage inventory
- Willingness to undergo a structured training program for Store Manager role
