Job Summary
Conduct overnight guest services including late-night check-ins, emergency response via on-call phone, and administrative tasks such as report generation and audit logging. Maintain property presentation through light housekeeping duties in public areas and manage vehicle care and snow clearing for safe winter access. Accurately record purchase receipts and support reception or driver teams with additional operational shifts as required. Work rotating overnight shifts from 10:00pm to 7:00am, averaging 40 hours per week, with eligibility for a 25% late-night allowance. Join the Night Operations team at Hotel La Neige in Hakuba to ensure smooth hotel operations during winter season hours.
Required Qualifications
- Legal right to live and work in Japan (typically via a Working Holiday Visa)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Confidence handling emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Basic computer skills and experience using hotel management systems is an advantage
- Ability to perform light physical duties including cleaning and snow clearing
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to commit to the full Winter Season period or available for a year-round position
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, reception, or night audit preferred
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- English and Japanese fluency
