Night Operations Manager

Job Summary
Lead all plant night-shift operations, serving as the primary decision-maker and escalation point for the facility. Oversee night shift supervisors to ensure effective execution of daily production plans, drive accountability and performance across Circle of Success metrics (safety, quality, service, cost), and translate operational data into corrective actions and sustainable improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; reinforce standard work and standard operating procedures across departments; coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to maintain coordinated, efficient night operations. Coach and develop supervisors to enhance leadership capability and ownership; support labor management to maintain appropriate staffing and optimize resources; drive waste reduction and cost savings aligned with plant performance goals. Maintain clear handoffs between shifts and respond to disruptions, while leading continuous improvement initiatives to stabilize and improve off-shift performance. This role requires night shift leadership, a focus on Circle of Success metrics, and direct coverage for night shift supervisor vacancies as needed. Pay: $90k per year.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations
- experience leading frontline supervisors in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- understanding of dairy processing operations including HTST, blending, filling/packaging, bulk loadout, raw material receiving
- experience driving performance metrics and data analysis
- experience improving safety, quality, service, waste, and labor efficiency
- leadership and coaching skills for supervisors
- compliance with regulatory, food safety, and company standards
- problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced production environment
- strong communication and organizational skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- ability to work night shift and support 24/7 operation
