Job Summary
Night Operations Department Supervisor responsible for leading store teams across front-end and back-end operations, coaching performance, ensuring safety and shrink controls, maintaining staff coverage, and driving operational efficiencies to deliver outstanding customer service and SMART operational results. Responsibilities include team leadership, performance feedback, interviewing input, staffing, cross-functional collaboration, safety and loss prevention, payroll closeout, and ensuring proper execution of department processes during night shifts. The role emphasizes coaching, associate development, process improvement, and effective communication with senior management and HR.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years experience in a retail environment (or 5 years of experience in a retail environment if education requirement is not met)
- Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility)
- Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
