Job Summary
Night Manager at Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff during the night, delivering first-class service, conducting nightly security walks with emphasis on fire safety, completing end-of-day nightly audit activities, maximizing room occupancy at best rates with upsell strategies, handling credit and cash in line with policies, representing senior management in their absence, resolving issues or emergencies promptly, maintaining knowledge of hotel products and services, and coordinating training and handover to the Night Team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of managing a front office team, ideally in a similar sized minimum 4-star branded hotel
- Financial awareness
- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment
- Commitment to delivering a high level of guest service
- Positive attitude and exceptional communication skills
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
