Job Summary
Manage and lead the night team to ensure store operations run safely and legally while the rest of the world sleeps, overseeing all departments for best availability and highest shop floor standards. Drive strategy into action by planning trading activity, managing date rotation, waste, and returns, and limiting damage through proper replenishment. Lead and coach colleagues to deliver excellent standards and foster a culture of pride, ensuring the shop floor is landed and presentable before handing over to the day team. Work a rolling rota of 4 nights over 7, including weekends, with full responsibility for the 24-hour store.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment
- Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight
- Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends
- Ability to make decisions independently
