Job Summary
Night Kitchen Shift Leader responsible for leading and motivating the kitchen team, managing shift operations, ensuring high food quality and safety standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key duties include supervising day-to-day restaurant operations, overseeing shift management and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations, resolving operational issues quickly, and upholding company policies. The role requires proven leadership in a fast-paced kitchen environment, strong communication skills, a focus on customer service, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. ServSafe knowledge is preferred, and proficiency with POS systems is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in restaurant or food service (at least 2 years in kitchen leadership)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines; ServSafe certification is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bi-lingual
