Job Summary
Inspect daily that all areas are cleaned and report repairs needed, ensuring work performed by cleaning staff meets high standards of quality to client satisfaction. Provide support to the janitorial operations manager while maintaining janitorial equipment and storage room in a clean, safe, and ordered manner. Place monthly supply orders to replenish proper stock of equipment and follow carpet and floor care programs. Maintain building security by keeping interior and exterior doors locked at all times. This role requires previous hotel and restaurant experience, bilingual ability, and the capacity to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds. The position is on the 3rd shift with compensation between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must have previous hotel and restaurant experience
- Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of the janitorial cleaning industry
- Ability to follow instructions
- Bilingual
- Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners and cleaning compounds and solutions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling, and moving objects up to 50 pounds
