Job Summary
Night Janitor/Housekeeper responsible for nightly cleaning and safety rounds across the community. Responsibilities include routine janitorial cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, restrooms, trash), walking the grounds to identify safety concerns, reporting issues to supervisors, aiding in two-person transfers when needed, responding to resident emergency calls, and providing back-up support during emergencies. Tasks also include documenting rounds in the Security Log, maintaining snow/ice clearing, assisting residents, families, and teammates, and coordinating with a Care Partner as required. Must have strong English communication, customer service, and the ability to stand/walk/bend/lift during the shift; CPR/First Aid credentials and health requirements are required. Prior janitorial experience and experience in a senior living or healthcare setting are preferred. Salary range: $20.00-$23.00/hour (annualized $41,600-$47,840) with full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of janitorial experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid credentials maintained
- read, comprehend, write, and speak English
- ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and pull frequently
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid
- health-related requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies
- experience in senior living community or healthcare setting preferred
