Job Summary
Conduct routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms. Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and elevator buttons. Empty and dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines, while refilling dispensers for soap and paper towels. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisors for reorders. Collaborate with maintenance teams to address cleanliness and safety issues, reporting repair needs as required. Follow all safety protocols for chemical handling and other tasks requested by the customer or Advanced, Inc. team. Shift runs 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience, [preferably in a medical or healthcare setting]
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required
- Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Employees must be able to be on their feet most of the day
