Job Summary
Night House Supervisor/Patient Flow Specialist leads hospital staff in applying policies, organizes workflow, and assigns nursing resources; supervises and coaches staff, collaborates with clinical leaders and the CNO, monitors productivity, and handles patient/family concerns. Works with charge nurses and support staff, supports post-anesthesia/operative and cardiac-care patients, and drives patient flow and resource management in a fast-paced hospital environment. Requires a nursing degree, Montana RN license, CPR, and ACLS/PALS (or obtain within 6 months); minimum 3 years of RN hospital experience including ICU exposure; strong leadership, communication, and customer-service orientated skills. Pre-employment screening (background check, drug screen, health immunizations) is part of the offer process.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from a Nursing Program
- Must be a licensed registered nurse in the State of Montana
- CPR required
- ACLS and PALS required or must obtain upon 6 months of employment
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as an RN in a hospital setting; recent ICU or experience
- Experience in care of patients from infancy to geriatrics
- Experience in patient flow, resource nurse and nurse leadership
