Job Summary
The Night Float Anesthesiologist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of the Anesthesia Department, overseeing the medical management of patients during surgery and other medical procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients, and monitoring patients’ physiological conditions throughout the anesthesia process. Candidates must possess an M.D./D.O. degree, have completed a residency in anesthesia, hold an ECFMG and FLEX certification, and be currently licensed to practice medicine.
