Job Summary
Schedule, dispatch, and resolve problems for drivers, contractors, and carriers while monitoring road breakdowns with vendors. Coordinate check calls, activity documentation, and internal/external communications via phone and system messages to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Assign loads to maximize profitability and retention, manage equipment detention times, and monitor freight optimization for assigned market areas. Maintain professional interactions to strengthen driver engagement and minimize turnover. Work Wed-Sat with 4 days on, 3 days off.
