Job Summary
Night Dispatcher role responsible for processing outbound orders, dispatching drivers and equipment, communicating instructions and updates to drivers, adjusting routes in real time to address delays or emergencies, collaborating with drivers, warehouse and office staff to ensure efficient dispatch of outbound trucks, monitoring pickups and backhauls, resolving open-priced invoices for accurate billing, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on product availability and inventory, and planning and prioritizing work to meet delivery timelines and service expectations. Requires hands-on, customer-focused, organized, and problem-solving abilities, with 2+ years of relevant dispatch or logistics experience and proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and Excel. Compensation listed as $19.00/hour; schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 9:00pm – 5:30am.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant dispatch/transportation experience in refrigerated food manufacturing or distribution
- Proficient with CRM and ERP systems; Microsoft Excel; strong communication skills in English; bilingual a plus
