Job Summary
Night Custodian at Wheaton College working 11:00 PM–7:30 AM to regularly clean assigned facilities, assist with additional tasks as needed, monitor supplies, report needs to supervisors, and ensure safety practices. Role includes potential floor care and use of specialized cleaning equipment, participation in required training, and adherence to faith and community commitments. Salary is $16.80/hour; FLSA non-exempt; full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Team player committed to institutional and departmental priorities, able to collaborate effectively with others.
- Must be reliable and have a sense of urgency for established timelines.
- Self-motivated, with efficient time management skills and the ability to solve problems.
- Attention to details and follow routines.
- Ability to follow simple written or verbal directions.
- Must Complete Blood Borne Pathogen training.
- Must Complete Physical Exam.
- Affirmation of the Wheaton College Statement of Faith and related commitments.
