Night Custodian

Arm and disarm the building alarm, lock and unlock doors to maintain a secure facility, and inspect entrances for snow, debris, or vandalism. Verify heating and air conditioning operations, report malfunctions, and perform fire drills as directed. Clean and disinfect washrooms, vacuum, wet mop, and clean windows in entrances and office areas. Dispose of garbage, empty trash cans, and replace liners while ordering supplies and stocking closets. Perform minor corrective maintenance, tag malfunctioning equipment, and complete required reports. Set up and teardown for school and outside group activities, receive and deliver materials, and assist in milk distribution. Mentor staff and coordinate schedules with little supervision.
