Job Summary
Night Custodian responsible for routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, floor care, and trash disposal in assigned District facilities; performs emergency cleaning; inspects and maintains custodial equipment; assists in major cleaning projects; prepares facilities for daily operations and events; regulates HVAC for seasonal conditions; repairs furniture and equipment; responds to safety concerns; secures facilities; maintains supplies; ensures a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment in school facilities. Requires knowledge of district policies, cleaning materials/equipment, and safety rules; must follow written and verbal instructions; strong relationship skills with co-workers. 1 year custodian experience preferred; Arizona Driver’s License required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; one (1) year of custodian experience is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skill.
