Job Summary
Assume responsibility for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the school and its site, including classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Dust, clean, and sanitize surfaces such as windows, ledges, desks, and countertops. Perform specialized cleaning tasks like stripping and waxing floors and conduct minor building maintenance including bulb replacement, furniture repair, and basic plumbing, heating, and electrical fixes. Set up furniture and equipment for community use and school events. Comply with health and safety codes, including OSHA standards. Work a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday with an 8-hour day shift and a night stipend.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb an 8-foot step ladder and/or up to a height of 12-feet
